This study employed a qualitative approach, using in-depth interviews and focus groups to gather data from Aksi Amoi women who are in relationships with Malay men. The participants were selected through a combination of snowball sampling and purposive sampling. The interviews and focus groups were audio-recorded, transcribed, and analyzed using thematic analysis.
